General contracting and property management company has immediate opening for part-time bookkeeper. Great working environment with flexible schedule — approximately 18 – 25 hours per week. Will advance to full time in the near future.

Successful candidate will be detailed, accurate, and efficient in their work habits and possess excellent bookkeeping knowledge and experience.

Past work experience in construction services a plus.

Skills & Experience Required

Fully qualified and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in double entry accounting.
Fully knowledgeable and skilled in working with major software applications such as QuickBooks, Sage Peachtree, or other such leading applications. Minimum 2-5 years’ experience required.
Capable to organize, prioritize, and accurately execute required work in the prescribed time.
Capable to collaborate and successfully take direction from company Controller and deliver work as requested on time.
Capable to troubleshoot any errors or imbalances within the General Ledger and efficiently and effectively make corrections as related to transactions within scope of responsibility.
Working knowledge and skill in using Excel, Word, & Outlook
Great interpersonal and co-worker customer service attitude.
